The Power of Art is

It’s Disruptive Potential

Celebrating Diversity, Cultivating Connections:

Two Decades of Inclusive Artistry

An artist isn’t created overnight. For people with intellectual disability, trauma, or mobility issues, it can take much longer to express oneself, understand the purpose of a project or the techniques to be used. Central to the success of Artistic Director Julie Robinson’s work is a key factor for the development of any artist: time.

Through practice, patience and opportunity, a generation of Yukon artists living with disabilities have been able to express themselves, talk about their lives, and build community

Project Summary

Ynklude’s projects are designed to engage with people with disabilities in the community, thus creating stronger community bonds, supports, and greater agency for the persons with disability themselves.
